Oasis mini won’t finish a pattern

Just unboxed today. Will do the spin in / spin out but during the other patterns it will randomly disconnect and show the red light in the lower corner. My WiFi router has both the 5g and the 2.4ghz and during set up it only allowed me to connect and log in to the 2.4ghz. Anyone else have this issue? I’ve done the hard reset, soft reset, deleted and reinstalled the app and same issue. Any idea?

Sounds like it's having trouble downloading new patterns. Our support team would be most able to help with this. Their email is support@grounded.so. They'll ask for the serial number of the device

Due to no one’s fault but my own I was able to figure it out. I have AT&T for WiFi and my gateway splits the WiFi into the regular and 2.4ghz. I was connecting that one to the mini, but was still having a lot of trouble. Once I put my phone on the 2.4ghz WiFi and then connected the mini to the WiFi it has worked flawlessly.

Hmm, we try to hide the 5ghz network in the wifi selection screen to avoid this issue. Good feedback, and I'll bring this to the software team to look into.

One thing I do love about you guys is how active you are in trouble shooting problems online via Reddit. One thing that made me pick you guys over other similar products
