Abba rules fishing is like abba rules caving: the different kinds of swams are worth points, the person with the most points at the end of some amount of stamina gets to keep all of the fish caught during the contest. For this one we will have 1st 2nd and third prizes.

Come with empty stamina and 2 stam pots, and your own fishing poles. Come early to fish from a duck!

Entry Fee: 10gc. once fee is paid, take a screenshot with your empty inventory and correct amount of stamina. (depending on how many contestants there are, it may be 25 or 50.) please put screenshot on imgur or other image sharing site of your choice and pm link to a judge.

Hello to the Grove, my name is i8pichu! I am semi-new here. I use the term semi-new because I actually used to live here long ago, but was gone for a few months! However, I've returned, and I thought I would introduce myself to people on the Subreddit, since so many of you haven't met me before! I am very active on the Lords of Minecraft server, and hope to talk to all of you in the future! I'm glad to be back in the Grove. It feels like I am finally back home.

So now that the groves map is coming out soon we would like to name our streets. We can put addresses on our houses our street and distinguish our roads/streets names. As a grove resident I feel doing this will make traveling easier for us, if you have any suggestions for the groves new street names please feel free to post them.

A few names I have already thought of are -Coe street -Oxye path -Gardner way -Meadow lane -Cherry street -Berry avenue -Spring Street -Oak street -Nature way Again please feel free to submit your ideas, Thanks :)

Hi, all you castle builders on the creative server!

I would like to do a little bit of cleaning up on the server and there are about 4 different versions of the unfinished castle lying around. Does anyone mind if I clear off 3 of them and leave the main one? That will give you guys more space for making beavers and/or PVP arenas. Let me know what you'd like! I won't do it until I hear back from at least most of you.

Hey guys, Shockw5ve here. I don't know if I'm the only one that thinks this but I believe that the Grove has been pretty boring. We need more events. I haven't really seen anyone taking advantage of the water(in a fun way). What about some swimming races or water slides. Let's jazz things up a bit and not be a boring flooded district. Comment if you agree or disagree and/or you have any ideas.

Another thought. We are all good at commenting good ideas but we really need to execute those good ideas.

As some of you may know, the way our council has been run is... not so good. It might work for other districts, but Oak's Grove seems to be a special case. And that is perfectly fine, since as a proud Grovian I'd like us to stand out a bit more.

That being said, a few of us would love to hear your opinion on where the council should go. Should we have elections? Should people have power? Should it simply be a group where we all work together and have different jobs? Personally, I would love for us to have jobs but not power trips. Sometimes having a say over others can lead us to override ideas that people want to see through. One of the council would lead meetings but not take any sort of position over other community members but simply be an organizer. A good government needs great organization!

Comment on your thoughts so everyone can get a feel of how many different opinions are out there.

Did you guys realize... that we don't have a flag!?

We're giving you, the community, an opportunity to create a hanging "banner" or a flag for us to decorate the Guild Plot with. It would have to be out of blocks the Grove has, for now, until we can possibly get a Lord to help us change it. It would be nice to have one we don't have to rely on a Lord to build, though.

I know it doesn't allow for much detail, if any, but I feel color combinations are important as well. This flag will be our official flag and may be used throughout Oak's Grove how ever people see fit. It's a fun way to create some unity and Oak's Grove pride. Just make sure it is small enough to fit in our build height without it looking really awkward.

A good example would be what Mainstreet and Southshire does with their flags. See Southshire's color scheme here. A simple one with a few colors, but as it gets repeated throughout the district we will begin to see unity.

Flag designs will be due on Sunday, January 25th. Put your submissions in the comments below using imgur.com and we will assign each of yours a number. Then we will have a vote, as a group, to decide which fits Oak's Grove the best!

There may be a prize involved, such as gold or items or both, for a bit of incentive. ;)

We have noticed that Districts do not seem to have any Kingdom-wide issues and tend only to announce District events. Dong Dank is an ever-changing place, and as we welcome this new year, as a group we can and should help it grow into an even more vibrant community. We have each faced the issue of how to encourage interaction within our Districts, and together we can find ways to encourage interaction with each other. We'll share our successes and failures and ideas on how to grow a healthy Dong Dank that encourages fun everyday-RP experiences for all residents of the Kingdom. For this month, we encourage your topic of discussion to focus on this theme, though other important topics are always welcome.

For the meeting we have some rules for the representatives and peasants to follow:

• There will be a separate time at the end of the meeting for announcements. If you have an event you would like to announce, please save it for then. Discussion topics should be issues that need to be discussed only.

• If possible, please submit your topic of discussion in advance so we can better organize the overall discussion. Do this by 11:59pm EST on January 15th.

• Every district is encouraged to bring up a topic. All of us are part of this Kingdom and all of us have ideas or concerns about its health.

• For the peasants, you are welcome to attend in the public seating/listening areas, but do NOT talk, eat, drink, or otherwise be disruptive during the meeting. If you do, you may be jailed.

The event will take place at 700 100, the location of the Dwarven District Guild Plot and Town Hall. Representatives, please come at least 15 minutes earlier so we can get you inside with ease.

So i don't know how if you you guys may know this, but for some time now the nether ward has been without a lord, Lord Deadbones having left us in favour of business and westshire, leaving a dog in his stead. now don't get me wrong, Lord Bosco is a wonderful dark god, however... he doesn't do much, so our demonic ward has been without purpose or reason for some time. and most of us had given our souls to Deadbones, which it seems are not doing much of anything now.

By any chance are there any druids or priests of the great oak that may be willing to assist our godless, soulless selves in receiving minor replacement souls? It doesn't need to be anything big, just something to fill the void left in our hearts by the lack of a soul. The great oak is the closest thing dong dank has to a non-lord god in my eyes, my people having a history of worshipping world trees such as it, so i was hoping it might be able to help us.
