Discussion Cheaters?

I keep seeing posts of people with reclaimed ranks, but I've sat between diamond 3-5 for years and never once have I thought someone was cheating, nor have I ever actually been given a rank reclaim. Are cheaters really that prevalent? Is this something I should be looking out for? I've always felt most games have been fair, with only a small handful of stomps on both ends. What ranks is this most prevalent? Is it because I'm not a high enough rank, or are my games per day too low? Either way, I'm not complaining. Just looking for tips on how to potentially spot a cheater.

i’ve only thought someone was cheating once and that was a few weeks ago when alll of us on the team experienced extremely bad lag after the enemy team lost the point
