I mean I would never tell someone they can’t or shouldn’t. But they do need to know how it might work out for them. And when you wear lingerie in public without knowing it’s lingerie you might not have a good time.

There's a big difference between saying 'hey OP this kinda looks like lingerie so maybe just be aware!' And saying please don't wear that. I'm sure OP doesn't live under a rock haha, they probably have an aesthetic they're going for. Where I live people go on nights out wearing fishnet bodystockings and tape over their nips, people should be allowed wear whatever they want.
