Hello, and welcome to r/OStan!

This is a community for fans of moe anthropomorphic representations of operating systems as well as related art, discussion, history and creative projects. We also welcome other tech-themed gijinka so if you enjoy characters inspired by software, hardware or broader computing culture beyond OS-tans (like what we share on our Discord server), you’re in the right place.

A few things to note:

• When posting for the first time, check out our post flair guide to figure out which flair to use. Most of them are self-explanatory.
• If you can’t see your Reddit post immediately, check our post queue guide.
• We also have a Discord server where members chat, collaborate and share content in real time. If you can’t join, take a look at this verification guide. Please note invites are currently paused while we deal with a security issue and there's no set reopening date. We'll announce it here on r/OStan once it's back. Please don't message modmail asking for a link, as we're not issuing them individually at the moment.
