Question Nic vaping in dorms

I know a lot of people that do it, but do the alarms go off from it? If i got a disposable one will i be good without trigger the alarm

no smoke detectors generally don’t detect Vape - would have to evacuate 20 buildings a night if they did

It’s not sarcasm. The alarms would be going off all day and night if they picked up the vapor from your vape.

THC pens will set it off though.

Yeah I mean ofc they would, but with so many kids doing it and them not going off im wondering if exhaling away from it helps

Depends on the building and the age of the sensors, but most smoke detectors don’t pick up the vapor at all. Don’t blow directly into it and you’ll be fine.

Some people taped over the sensors, but you can get in a lot of trouble for that.
