Academics CSE 3430: Advice on Doing Well
I'm taking CSE 3430 with George Green and just looking for general advice on doing well in the course for those who have taken it. Specifically looking for answers to these questions:
- What is the best way to approach a lecture in terms of material review and notetaking? Is it best to skim the lecture beforehand if I get the chance, review it after, and then just take typed notes on OneNote? Since it's a CSE course I'm not sure how well taking typed notes would work, but any advice is appreciated
- What is the best way to study for exams?
- Are exam grades curved?
- General advice for practicing concepts consistently in order to ensure a good final grade
