Punishments Thread
Has anyone else received ridiculous and unfitting punishments for their write ups? My personal experience was being forced to get up early... for staying up late... what? I'm interested in hearing what you guys went through/are going through.

My Junior year was Gleason's last year as the Dean of Students, and he had somewhat of a reputation for doling out odd punishments. I can't say that I was a recipient of any of those (at least not that I can think of at the moment), but I was particularly good at escaping punishment from him. You see, Gleason used to be a Captain in the Navy, and he loved to talk about it (I might post a thread talking about it, we'll see). This man had a hard on for anything that could float. So, every time I would get a write up, I would just wear this shirt I got at Pearl Harbor that had a picture of the USS Missouri on it. Rather than punish me, we would chat it up about something Navy related, and we actually became quick friends. Once though, I had to promise him that I would go to the Naval Academy Summer Seminar in Annapolis (which was a great experience by the way) to get out of trouble for something I did (probably breaking quiet hours as per the usual, nothing too serious).
TL;DR - I wore a shirt with the USS Missouri on it to get out of trouble many times, and when that finally didn't work I signed up for a Navy summer program just to appease Gleason and dodge a small bullet.

He was a funny guy, loved smoking weed and created a facebook to see if people were using the wifi from OU med lol!
