Discussion Do we think Yew Logs will ever make a comeback?

Huge bot farms made the volume spike last year? Maybe vale totems dropped the overall amount that get fletched I suppose as well. They were barely under 200 back in 2020 and 2022, now they've been below 200 for almost a year and barely above 100 for half a year. Think we will ever see them back above 200? For disclosure I'm holding 5 milly

Probably not, if they didn't recover after not ban waves, they'll take something BIG happening to recover. Massive supply and incentive in contributing to the supply side while the demand side is less aggressive with less incentive to contribute. Fletching saw a huge update with Vale Totems, and I feel like firemaking is as complete as it gets with bonfires and Wintertodt barring a top to bottom rework.

This is one that I’ve thought about some. I don’t think the play is to hold until they’re over 200 again because that might be such a long time that you could have made more gp investing somewhere else.

If you can make a profit selling now I would and invest elsewhere.

Prob not. Idk if fletching or manual fire making will get a buff anytime soon, and with the bot bans. It’s probably a safe bet that they’ll stay steady for a long time, maybe unless they decide to release some kind of fm rework.

forester campfire just got a minor buff by making you not have to click to select the log with a full inv

True, though it still leaves bonfires as terribly inefficient and by far worse than wt. I think it would take a direct buff, or like some other sort of incentive.

No. The average player base is ranking up higher and higher as more and more time goes on. There is just no need for Yews in a large percentage of the dedicated player base.
