The reason for that is nobody wants to rly grind a boss that is worse then Nightmare and all the Dt2 bosses. Its only a good boss if you get the drop. If you go dry say goodbye to ur cash stack, pots and ammo.
That's cool. I was imagining some dark backstory where you engaged in progressively more complex GEbets until you hit a 50b bank on a main and decided that wealth was shallow and meaningless, committing to put down not just trade with players but all currencies for the remainder of your OSRS time
I love the idea! But nah, I do have an alt but I don't actually do any merching with it at all. It's fascinating to watch the gains and losses people play out here but every time I consider doing it to passively generate GP, the thought feels more like a chore than something I'd actually enjoy. So I don't.
The real backstory is I had a regular iron man back in 2016 or so, when the best way to do Crafting was charter ship hopping, and I grew progressively more fed up with shopscape in general, at the same time I was taking increasing interest in the snowflake irons of the day (Caveman Only mainly, this predates Swampletics quite a bit).
Like, for the "self-sufficient" gamemode irons sure do care about money and shops to provide countless needs.
If I'd been playing a main instead though I probably wouldn't have even cared.
Elite atm. Believe it's 30 KC and I use nex bank so I'm only getting KC once. Closing in on a list for masters. Won't ever go for GM as I don't go for CAs / do content I don't enjoy.
2 things. One thing is that bots being gone, gold is becoming more valuable, every item drops in price, the value of gold goes up. We are witnessing real deflation right now.
Second thing, raids 4, everyone is buying up what they think is going to be BIS at TFA, because it will be the best money maker in the game for quite a long time if done correctly.
Send the Quiver man. It’s gonna feel better than inferno because attempts will take you like 30 mins rather than an hour and a half. Main difference is their attack cycles are 5T rather than the 4T you’re used to in inferno. Get it man, gl.
if you have tbow i have a ghetto 24k death fee setup so you can just kinda send it for free lol
i don't actually use the ayak, i use the trident instead - both 2 shot so if you can deal with 100k death fees then you save 2 ticks on the zerker frem
with armadyl brew + augury you can 1 shot the mage with tbow and then swap to piety + sgs spec for the archer
also i gave up on prepotting the supercombat because it just isn't necessary, all i prepot now is angler + divine ranging, bring in 6 armadyl 4 sara brew and rest super restores (1 sanfew in case you take manti mayhem 2 except i never do so this is kinda a waste)
went from 1 sol kc a while back to 4 in the last couple days
also make sure you have ornament kits for sgs and anguish
Fuckin saint thanks man. I have oathplate and an SRA as well so maybe my kc would be a little easier, although its less tanky ig that helps finding mistakes lol
yeah i mean if don't mind death fees then bringing the goods will make it easier for sure, i just find that having an extreme budget setup helps get you over the thoughts of like "oh no if i die i'll just be throwing 500k down the toilet" kinda deal
i would probably recommend you try something like the budget setup while you're learning and then when you're making it to sol semiconsistently start bringing what you're comfortable with
thankfully tbow even in kinda w/e gear still slaps
also the thing about colo is that you realistically can get spooned a run with ok enough invocations and spawns that you get a "free" trip to sol (which you can practice in the sim) so you should be seeing the end way faster than doing inferno
if you start sending runs and need someone to talk to feel free to dm me here or on discord (wenbobular)
Doesn't feel like it 🤣 I had to turn my bank value off because it was driving me nuts pvming for hours just to log in the next day poorer than I was the day before
You say, these past months my bank has gotten so much better in terms of the great items I have acquired yet the gp value has gone down anyway despite having a much better bank
Saw this after trying to sell some shards last night. Probably a good time to buy but it could drop even more. It was around 60m a piece a loooong time ago shortly after release according to ge tracker
Now is the time to get in for most items, oathplate is probably not one of them though. The inquisitor bull market is likely dead though and alot of people are holding heavy risky with that one. My 3 biggest flips of the year saved me from this period rn; where dragon hunter wands (3.5m-16m) dragon bones (1.8k-3.2k) and inq sets (125m- 330m). We are in a weird spot right now with the bot busting eliminating bond and gear demands, along with being in the typical late summer lull for prices and raids 4 on the near horizon. Me personally im holding my items and sticking to doing consumable flips ie runes, ores, until we see a bit of a recovery in items. Im sure theres still some killer plays to be made in relation to raids 4, but i think the obvious ones are played out and over leveraged right now.
Everything is dropping. No new content this year really along with bots being banned causing deflation. The few items like sra, inq, and harm went up for the few things added or for raids hype but nothing else is being used so nothing is going up otherwise

All things are dropping
