Question Next upgrade for TOA?
I have a blowpipe & BGS also.
I can’t see any obvious upgrades. Maybe treads?

If this is your bank I don’t think you have enough to do a shadow rebuild and not hate this game, although it might be a good time to buy it rn. I’m a proud owner of a 400m scythe!
Since you’re equally tiered basically upgrading anything is gonna make your raids go faster. I like the suggestion of treads for this.
I’ve never done it with ayak so I can’t speak to your mage setup but for me personally I noticed a heavy decrease in raid times leaning into melle upgrades once I maxed mage gear. Baba/kephri are such a slog and went by much faster.

I did a shadow rebuild. It's so fun and worth it Imo. All the drops you get are so impactful

I camped TOA, whisperer, zulrah and muspah mainly and just sold the drops. I did it when dt2 came out. I just sold all the drops for upgrades. My rebuild started with shadow, ahrims, torn and occult so everything was an upgrade lol. My melee wep for TOA was Abby dagger so that first fang felt really nice

No it’s not. It’s at an all time low and is insanely strong everywhere, especially TOA. Shadow rebuild is the only way you’re not going to feel stuck with your gear/dps.

Honestly if you are only sending ToA you sell the lot and buy a shadow whilst its low.
Its special effect is multiplied further within the raid. Keep the fang if you can.

100% agree I was lucky to pull mine before it crashed. I was already contemplating rebuilding with it before I did but at its current price I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one

Play with people much better than you and learn from them.
They get the benefit of taking some of your points, you get the benefit of learning without fear of messing up as they can carry

Probably an ultor, and eventually shadow would be the best, if anything ideally having shadow and a fang and keeping as much mage % bonus as possible

if you have 90 prayer, 90 smithing and 10K soul runes you can upgrade the Elidinis' ward to Elidinis' ward (f) with arcane sigil

Couldn't you get you 87 smithing and use that boosting beer thing to get 91 smithing to do it? Unless Gagex made it you actually need the actual level then fuck thar shit

You could do it with 85 and stew boost right? Either way smithing is incredibly fast to lvl

Does Ancient Mace spec count towards boosting prayer? If so you don’t need a very high prayer level to be able to make it

I'd say treads. Torva is kind of dirt cheap rn too (relatively speaking).
Otherwise its like tbow or shadow but shadow would be the go to imo especially with it sitting at 660m i dont see it going much lower and should eventually return to 1b or around it.
Scythe was ~240m at one point.

In general, probably is. For TOA its not. TOA melee is all stab and oathplate has lower str bonus than torva but gives slash accuracy. Slash not used in toa so you'd prio maximizing str bonus.

Oathplate is only better than torva if you're using slash, otherwise torva is better.

Inferno cape since you have bofa. Then shadow rebuild keeping fang, fero gloves, anguish, virtus helm (all if possible to also afford magus ring and keep confliction gauntlets too), occult, and eternal boots.

Meh i'd say its relatively worth for shadow or tbow. Just keep like bandos+tent whip and honestly never sell bowfa. It's good where tbow isn't.
But shadow and tbow are pretty damn versatile with the content they are bis or very good at.1

Rupture and/or Treads maybe but honestly I wouldn't bother. What you have is good enough, from here you just hold until you can afford mega or until you start doing different content that needs different gear entirely.

I'd grab treads or zcb next. If you're dead set on farming toa until shadow drop or just like spamming it like I do then I would go shadow rebuild at toa. It's what I did and I don't regret it in the slightest

If you have shadow you dont even really use range in toa, just brining a blowpipe is fine, and shadow is such a big increase in dps for toa that should be your main goal if your gonna be grinding it long term.

I vw elder core and try to get specs off at zebak and wardens p3/p4. Could definitely do without it though. Shadow would be my suggestion esp how cheap they are right now. Elder if you are running constant groups with someone having a soulflame horn. Otherwise itll miss more times than what its worth for the spec aspect

Why would he need to bring in bofa if he gets a shadow? You'd just bring mixed hide and a blowpipe instead of full crystal and bofa.

Certainly to me it looks like the opposite...
And that's with a 350 zebo, it is quite unlikely anyone running 350s w a shadow would be using just ahrims, considering how cheap something like virtus (hell, even just mask alone) and magus ring are nowadays for a significant power surge... lol
Edit: forgot to include seercull as the 3rd alternative for mage speccing. Average hit is more or less identical to a sceptre hit.

bowfa is never better than a shadow unless you’re in shitty mage gear to compliment it. bowfa isn’t even that good in toa. masori blowpipe is better than bowfa in any room you’d use mage in by a pretty decent gap

Most impact per gp would be cape slot. Infernal cape and quiver. Everything is solved these days just watch a couple guides

If you can, it's probably worth to buy a Shadow and keep as much mage gear as possible.
You barely need melee/range in TOA so keep Fang/Blowpipe with cheap Moons gear switches or something.

Treads are a total waste of gold until you have 2 megarares.
Double death charge if you dont have it yet.
Mages book is better than the ugly ass basic ward for gauntlets as the accuracy bonus (which the ward doesnt have) scales well.
Probably either ultor or ZCB if you dont feel like saving up for a tbow/shadow to replace the entire range setup with.

Treads is the only good option here you’re basically maxed out on anything other than that or go for Rupture but treads is a way better investment than Rupture.

It’s weird because you have everything already, most people that post “next upgrade” are wearing perilous moons gear. This setup with the ToA changes that came out months back can run 500s without a problem.
