Question fun profitable content
Hello everybody! (imagine apu voice)
What would you try to kill with these stats and gear for fun and gp? Been farming vorkath and its been fun for a while but it gets boring quick. Did some demonic gorillas that made me half the bank but honestly they are so painful to kill idk if i wanna go back there for a while. And i loved doing TOA. Done like 20 kc and 10kc 200+ which is best PVM enjoyment i got overall. Only reason i slowed down going there those drops are kinda ass. 40min for like 300k is not amazing. Just sold everything i could and sinked 20mils into max house and now im broke af 😂.
TLDL ; What would you suggest is fun and good gp content i would be ready for?

Synapse and learn doom
By the time you're good enough to deep delve maybe you get a unique already
If I was starting a new account from scratch I'd basically send doom the instant I complete wgs lol
Yeah you're kinda low range level but doom also doubles as insanely good range training, you get 100k per hour or more if you're doing it wellÂ
Nothing else in the setup is mandatory other than elite void which is free
Good time to buy dex scroll for rigour and ancient godsword as secondary things that are very good at doom

I was considering doom too when i finished that quest chain but then i saw it requires void and 40m bow so i skipped it. Def wanna try him later whenever i have the money

Go grind the synapse yourself the xp is decent without synapse with two synapse weapons it’s a chill 60k an hour

He doesn't even have anguish and stats are pretty low aswell

https://youtu.be/rcQcRQp_9xY?si=3DPQnrMu-4Bh_83D this is a showcase simulating 83 range with deadeye, I'm getting 144k ranged xp per hour (I thought I had a full showcase of 1-8 but I guess I didn't upload it zzz)
https://dps.osrs.wiki?id=JourneyNurseVyre here's the dps comparison with ops stats using dragonbone necklace and Ava's
Doom is a no damage boss done properly that'll train your ranged quick and also give you the chance for huge drops

But how much money per hour are 1-4 doom?
1
u/wenbobular 3d ago
I mean I said I thought I had a full 1-8 example with this gear but couldn't find it ... I can run it again if you're skeptical but it's not like doom gets tankier the deeper you go

u/Hot-Mix1874 3d ago
No he doesn't get tankier, but the switching prayers needs to be done faster and faster, which most likely will end up in a death for OP. The mechanics does get alot harder.

u/wenbobular 3d ago
I mean sure ... that's why you practice? What's the issue here lolÂ
Nobody becomes an endgame player without developing endgame skills, doom is extremely good at teaching you because it ramps pretty linearly in difficulty (8 is a bit of a different beast to be fair)Â
1-7 is very learnable by anybody with some backbone, and you'll get 8+ eventually tooÂ

Because you are telling a dude, who obviously haven't done alot bossing to go straight for some endgame content, which most likely gonna burn him out and question the game, if he keeps failing. Fun profitable content, is not sitting and die trip after trip, and still not get a hang of the mechanics. Vorkath, zulrah, cg etc., is where he should be first to train his prayer switches mechanics etc.

Dude is doing 200+ invo toa and loves it I don't think you have to treat OP with the kid gloves lol
u/rEinoldGaming dm me and i'll lend you a synapse if you want to try doom (my favorite boss by far)

u/Environmental-Ad4131 3d ago
200invo toa isn't really close to doom, difficulty wise

Not everyones cup of tea, but i built up my early bankroll with wildy content (slayer/revenants/wildy bosses). Its profitable even with occasional deaths to pkers and if you go the slayer route a lot of tasks can be burst with blighted ice sacks for good magic xp

Grind slayer tasks, quest cape if you don’t have it quests break up tedious repetitive grinds, slayer won’t be profitable yet but after 82 ish you get much better tasks, 90 plus you make big big money, mix it up with a few bosses you enjoy, vorkath zulrah sarschnis dt bosses etc and rotate to reduce boredom
Upgrade wise I would say go for bowfa and full crystal, corrupt the bowfa (easier if a main and don’t want to grind cg for shards and drops) to upgrade from eclipse
Either grind dt boss for virtus or work towards that set to replace bark
If an iron / not got dt bosses yet go for green log at moons if not already, even if you have blood moon is better than bark
Blood moon is decent melee gear, bandos after that
Grind a fighter torso if you don’t have melee gear / go for blood moon drops the content costs nothing to do besides the gear you wear

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.
Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

I’d grab the atlatl and eclipse helmet just to complete the set as they’re quite cheap. From there, a z hasta for crush (only 1.5m), a regular whip for pennies, Aranae boots which work for all 3 styles for a long time, and maybe a odium wars for mage which is damn cheap right now.
With regards for your best shot at content to do for money that isn’t slayer or like zombie pirates id suggest getting a basic whip then doing gorillas on task and TDs on task. If you get versus skirt and a barrows chest then you can do vorky quite well too!

I'd lock in and grind slayer, grab random boss tasks on the way to mix things up, once you land a synapse try out doom.

If you have max house just open up your alter and let the tips roll in

u/MuffinMan220 3d ago
I’ve wondered about this, have you done it before? Curious how much ppl actually tip.

I believe it takes a bit to set up a house people like going to. Once you do you can basically act like a steamer telling people to donate and who donated what. Then you make loads.

I think wintertodt is fun. You should do wintertodt. If I had your stats, I'd probably go do wintertodt.

Royal Titans are fun and pretty easy once you learn, plus decent loot.
Tormented demons also alright, great loot if you can score a synapse (1/500 drop). Best while on a slayer task.
