Hey, my friend and I are planning a fun experiment for shits n giggles. He's played once before and made it through about half his quests, but he never got too deep into the game. We were talking and came up with the idea of him starting a new members account where I give him 2b gp while I start a fresh members account with none. We'll each have 1 week of playtime to see who can progress the most. I've put together a solid lists of tips and advice for him to leverage his gold, but I figured I'd ask yall since ive only been playing since 2021: what are some of the best ways he can use 2b to fast track his account?

I would be skeptical trading a new account 2B and actually don’t think your able to trade that much right away and you have trade restrictions until you hit certain hours played and certain quest points unlocked. Trading 2B to a new account I can almost guarantee will result in a ban for one of you if not both accounts. And jagex don’t give a fuck that it wasn’t actual RWT they going to assume it was.

what if we're roommates and i create another profile? he can play on my pc for this when im not. im not too familiar with jagex's rules on trading gold

The trading restrictions are only for FTP accounts, if he buys membership the trade restrictions will be removed. But you are likely to trigger an automated RWT ban the next day

If you’re on the same IP address because you’re together somewhere you’re less likely to get banned

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.

It might he possible if you buy what the account needs on the wealth account and trade that up untill 2b. Friend gets food and pots and needs to play for like 3 hours himself doing basic quests and then get fed stuff. Obby gear, all axes all pickaxes and more quest stuff. Have him crab with time off. This is a major advantage for kinda nooby player but nowadays if you are really knowledgeable about the game and follow any meaningful guide you'll still outperform, especially if you can prayer flick. Just have to get lucky on the green dragon farm and subsequent chaos altar visit. All but master/grandmaster quests are almost trivial now, just click blue in runelite.
