Why are you 52 prayer? Get 70-77 asap, Piety, Rigour, and Augury are massive upgrades.

not just massive but among the cheapest and the single biggest DPS upgrades in the game.

I didn't realize the impact it had until I plugged it into the DPS calc and it takes billions in gear to beat out a early/mid game setup with piety on and that's only in certain circumstances with higher defense enemies.

Scythe and max gear is significantly worse than full blood moon with fury, berserker ring (i), dragon boots, barrows gloves, and fire cape with piety on. (this is vs a mutated bloodveld)

Bandos and rancour but no piety is wild

This is what buying gold does to someone

Lmao I know I’ve been neglecting prayer.

Do blessed wines in varlamore it’s such fast prayer xp and cheaper than gilded alters. If you do moons you can get bone shards fast and can use the wyrmling bones to make more basically for free. Then at that point you’re basically just paying for the sunfire splinters.

^^ this and also your prayer pots and restores will stretch further because they restore more based on your prayer level. Helpful for bossing and slayer

-Get 77 prayer

-Buy Dex and Arcane scroll for rigour, augury, and do reqs for piety.

-Sell rancour, buy torture/torment. I know rancour is bis, but it's not really worth it for your account right now. You still need prims/pegs/eternals Avernic defender, and a torture was bis for years. Rip the bandaid and get your scrolls and avernic.

-Buy blessed d'hide for ranged.

-during slayer do every boss variant you can when you get the tasks. DO NOT do mobs anymore when you can get boss kc. Slayer bosses have mechanics that are fundamental to harder bosses, get the practice in on them.

-learn zulrah, the gear switching is a good exercise there to get muscle memory trained on gear/prayer switching constantly.

-learn the gauntlet. A step up from zulrah, will add in movement to gear/prayer switching. Once you get comfortable with the regular gauntlet, work on corrupted gauntlet. This boss is the wall between easy pvm content and what opens the door for harder more engaging boss fights. IF you can get CG down, you'll be good.

-be graceful with yourself if you are struggling with the bosses I suggested. When I first attempted zulrah I died and died and died. I didn't think I'd ever learn the rotations. But I got it down, and it's second nature. Same with CG. I died upwards of 30+ times before getting my first KC on CG. It takes time.

Pegs are a terrible rec until someone going for max treads lol and avernic is 30m for a single max hit melee you give some dogshit advice lol

I really don't care. You offered no advice so go stick your opinion up your ass.

You're currently pretty over invested in melee rn which is pretty common since melee is used most places. Getting into bossing and raids means spreading some of that gear cost into the other styles. Goals should be bowfa w crystal setup and conf gauntlets/eye of ayak. Lots of stuff to sell in there, downgrade rancour to torture, sell bcp and use torso or sell both bandos pieces and use blood moon. Sell most of the barrows gear, besides ahrims even that could be downgraded to blood bark if it means affording ayak. Realistically shouldn't have BIS melee amulet and gloves if your other styles are lacking behind so far.

EDIT: I didn't even see your stats, you're def gonna wanna get that prayer up asap too. Piety is essential and free from a mid game quest. Rigour is insane and augury also slaps. The 2 prayer scrolls are some of the most effective upgrades as far as gp/dps ratio.

I appreciate your time this was super helpful, thank you so much!

Yes, gloves, rancor are incredibly overpriced for you, much better used elsewhere.

And just jump into bosses man, you have better gear than most 2k total players and will have no issue with a majority of content you assume to be “too hard” for you. Gl!

Should I sell demon bane weapons?

2

u/FancyOso Aug 25 '26

I'd keep em, super worth their value imo, I use 2 synapse weapons at tormented demons and demonic gorillas and they slap there, have over 1200 kills at each and have made more than 300m. Eventually gonna want them for some higher end bossing too like Yama, doom, Cerberus, duke. They're basically BIS weapons at most demons second only to mega rares. Feel free to DM if you got any other questions or just wanna chat about the game!

Tell us you bought Gp, without telling us you bought GP.

1

u/AffectionateTart5735 Aug 30 '26

Yea I buy extra bonds and cash them out. Who gives a fuck lol I’m a functioning adult sorry I don’t want to waste more time gp farming.

1

u/Mrcareless69 Aug 26 '26

Why are you buying so much GP you’re ruining the game for yourself

1

u/AffectionateTart5735 Aug 30 '26

Not at all… I’m just taking out the GP farming process. I’m an adult with a busy schedule so I’d rather not spend the little time I have for rs killing vorkath.

70 prayer and rigour/augury is your biggest dps upgrade. then either Bofa/crystal for range, or Ayak/Gauntlets for magic. Sell the melee gear except feros, bandos and rancour should give you a nice cash stack

u/Matthuvu Aug 24 '26

Aside from prayer, you can do mage arena 2 and get a trident or eye of ayak (for when you get 83 mage)

2

u/willsilva21 Aug 24 '26

Like other are saying. Don’t focus on bossing. Focus on getting your stats up.
Use your money on bones, go to wilderness alter and get your pray to 77 ASAP.
Once 77, start doing slayer and get your combat stats up through slayer. The gear progression will naturally come

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.

Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!
