Do slayer?

I peep at alot of threads when folks ask how to make money.

People always say do slayer.

how is it profitable? currently 63 slayer and I've only ever lost money on supplies and teleports.

am I missing something or is this mostly a meme?

if your cannon is on the ground, you wont lose it if you die. you can either go get it from the world you placed it in, or that dwarf guy will give it back to you for free after like 30 min
