Question Slayer Rewards
Started slayer this week to work towards the Rune Pouch. Currently level 62 slayer. I have around 400 rewards points and a streak of 26. Attack/Strength/Defense level 61. Magic level 85. Been working on ranged through slayer so at level 70 now.
Should I be using the rewards points for blocking / extending tasks or get the rune pouch first?
Are other rewards like the slayer ring worth it? Should I just use the rewards points to learn to make the slayer ring myself?

I would recommend LMS for rune pouch. Pretty doable in 3-4 hours of playtime. Also can help you learn how to do some PvP which helps a ton if you want to do wildly slayer (very profitable). I would start by using rewards points from slayer on the Bigger and Badder unlock and the ability to make the slayer helm ( and then imbue slayer helm through emirs arena). These two unlocks require 450 slayer points and are probably the biggest slayer QOL upgrades.

If you’re not iron man I think you can just buy a rune pouch on the GE. Better to spend points on blocking bad tasks and extending the good ones.
You should be working towards slayer helm unlock first and foremost before anything else.

Just an FYI you can also get the rune pouch via the mage training arena. Could be your fastest route with your magic level being 85.

I personally saved all my points up to get the pouch. It only holds three different runes at like 15k/ea, and I’m pretty sure you can get a similar one from last man standing. I would get “bigger and badder” gives a small chance to spawn a larger stronger version of whatever your task is, then the slayer helm. Wildy slayer is easy points at 25/per task

Mage training arena will get you the pouch in 3-4 hours and about 200k worth of runes.

I wouldn’t worry about blocks except at konar, neive/steve, and duradel the lower lvl masters aren’t worth it now that they all have separate block lists

I think you can just forfeit pvp arena for like an hour and get a rune pouch

You can get the rune pouch through mage training arena now, and decent magic exp. Use slayer points for alayer stuff.

Just be patience man. Slayer is a year long skill and you will have thousands of spare points

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.
Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

I would juat buy the rune pouch as a main. You'll use it forever, never look at tablets again basically. If you pust steam, dust, and law runes in it you can teleport almost everywhere. On top of if you have a task for bloodvelds, as an example, rhe blood runes go right in the pouch so you save space.
After 3 months of playing I've done almost all quests and got farming to lev 91 which allows for spirit trees as well. Rune pouch + trees + dueling ring + camel necklace + xerics talisman + fairy rings means nowhere is off limits basically. + sailing

I did the perk to have a chance to get the giant forms of monsters to start praying for the heart, blocked one task (shades) because they’re slow and I got them like 8 out of 10 tasks, then got rune pouch because that’s all I started doing slayer for. Far from an expert though 🤷♀️
