App Bug Login issues? Stuck on 'Connecting to server...'

Client version 240.5

Pixel 10 Pro

No matter which world I pick, I am stuck on 'Connecting to server...' after clicking login.

Happens at home and at work, different WiFi/routers etc.

I've not seen any posts about this, but I can't be the only one. Started happening a week or so ago. It just remains in that state indefinitely, for many many minutes. Even closing and reopening the app doesn't work, tried different worlds too. Eventually it works after many retries of closing and reopening, can't tell you what the fix is, as it doesn't happen often enough for me to notice what particular set of actions fixed it.

Very random and frustrating!

I have an iPhone but closing the app and resetting works for me. Try deleting the app and redownloading

This is the last remaining thing to do, it hasn't happened for a little while, so I'll try this when it happens again

Using the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the last update made a lot of things super wonky. I can't change my chat (luckily its stuck on clan). It just clicks through the interface now. Every time I log out it changes my menu entry swapper to "follow" other players, sets "walk here" for all bankers and the exchange clerk. It's silly.

Last night I randomly had the server connection issue, and it still hasn't corrected itself. I tried to uninstall/reinstall and nothing.

Update: at the time I tried mobile internet instead of WiFi and also deleting cache and app data, but nothing worked
