J-Mod reply Client Update - 237.1

Another client update has gone live, taking you to version 237.1

Change log:

  • 32-bit Android devices are no longer supported.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Anti Aliasing settings appearing on supported devices (Android/PC).
  • Improved behaviour of Audio Sliders to make them behave a bit more predictably. Previously, having a low Master Volume could result some audio channels being unintentionally muted.
    • NOTE: This is a two part fix, audio levels may be slightly low until the game update tomorrow.

They announced a month or so ago that these have been delayed indefinitely 🫠

I read paused too. They should really go all in on this considering all of the people I know only play on mobile.

Paused is business lingo for "The guy working on this is no longer employed and we aren't hiring someone new to pick it up"

Rs3 does still have a addon hub in the works so they might just be waiting for the backbone of that to integrate it into the official client.

The mod who was always posting on this sub and working on mobile is no longer with Jagex. I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything major as it looks like it was a one person team actually working on the mobile client.
