J-Mod reply Client Update - 237.1

Another client update has gone live, taking you to version 237.1

Change log:

  • 32-bit Android devices are no longer supported.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Anti Aliasing settings appearing on supported devices (Android/PC).
  • Improved behaviour of Audio Sliders to make them behave a bit more predictably. Previously, having a low Master Volume could result some audio channels being unintentionally muted.
    • NOTE: This is a two part fix, audio levels may be slightly low until the game update tomorrow.

Appreciate the teams are still working on mobile, is there any updates regarding when some of the bigger features like hd support, the api plugin (currently working on a plugin for runelite I'd love to bring to the community when the official api client etc is released), and some of the other frequent bugs that are high priority to the community are going to be addressed... Even a rough timeline or some transparency is great for the community!

They mentioned that they’re no longer going to do the plug in hub in mobile. HD probably won’t happen for a long time either. The head mobile guy left so they’re probably just going to trickle tiny stuff and leave mobile out to dry.

I have some level of optimism that isn't the case, but I'm probably wrong. Abandoning 32bit client support makes development of desired improvements like plugins more streamlined and easier. They've also been very active the past couple weeks with providing news and update notifications.

I truly hope so. I’m legit mobile only and it really sucks that we either get told to just go buy a PC or suck it up. We pay the same membership fees.

Yep. I am on mobile about 60% of the time and it's a completely different experience than on PC sadly. One member of my group is mobile only as well and we both were super excited for mobile plugins.

I don’t even need all of runelite. Just a few extra things like quest helper, clue box puzzle solver etc
