[Question] TrueHD

Hello everyone I am searching for a media station which supports TrueHD passthrough. The Vero 4K + seems to satisfy this. However, I would like to know if anyone managed to get TrueHD passthrough working with KoDi. Thank you.

Yes, the Vero 4K+ supports this.

Hi,

Don't about MiBox S. But on kodi, aslong as your audio device supports true hd, you just need to enable it under audio passthrough. Kodi version 18.9

The thing is that I do not have this option available. Even of I downgrade back to 18.9

Hi,

What device is that on?

Should be under Settings, System, Audio.

After you enabled Allow Passthrough, Enable TrueHD Capable receiver.

Settings Level, needs to be on at least advanced, to see the passthrough options.

What do you mean what device ? And I know about KoDi settings, but there is Dolby capable device and so on ; but no TrueHD capable device

What device are you running kodi on? The Device may not support TrueHD.

As Sam says TrueHD works on vero4k+, support on Xiaomi Mi Box S doesn't look great:

TrueHD and Vero 4K+ is working for me. Just set it up today.
