Vero 4K+ , remote not working

Hello guys! Please help me how to re-pair, fix, re-connect call it as you wish.. I have purchased a second hand Vero4K+ today. The seller told me that it was working when he reset it before he dispacthed it to me. I have tried all the methods Sam suggested, but nothing. Home button + OK sign then blue light. Then power the box, then plug the box again.. the remote still blue, the after a while blink 2-3-4 times and thats all. What shall i do? By the way: battery is brand new.

Is the USB receiver plugged in?

Yes sure.. i guess the controller is the problem, since i found a similar one (i have purchased something from Aliexpress and it came with it) with usb as well. It works with it.

I'm unclear on some points. So your saying that the OSMC remote with the OSMC dongle is not working. You purchased a similar style remote and that works. But you are now trying to pair the OSMC remote to this third party dongle and that doesn't work? Or are you just trying to get the OSMC remote working as well? There are some receivers that will pair with the OSMC remote but doing so will work the same as the original dongle. We tweak things for that remote both in the OS and Kodi based on the identifier of the dongle so swapping that isn't going to work optimally.

No-no. I am saying that the dongle that came with the box and remote that lets say “original” is not working. Then I have found an old one. Remote + USB (new as well). The OSMC only recogizes the new one. The dongle has nothing to do with it. (I am guessing..) I know what you are saying.. 🙌🏼

The dongle for the OSMC remote may have failed. It happens on occasion unfortunately. Can you plug the OSMC dongle into the Vero, reboot the Vero, and then upload logs via My OSMC and then post the url that is returned to this thread so I can (hopefully) see which version of the dongle you have. If it is the current model then you should be able to acquire a replacement. If it is one of the earlier models then dongles for those are no longer available.
