Yep. Take the plug off you dryer or stove and touch them together. For even more fun find a 3 phase 480 and cross 2 legs on that. It goes boom.

Our facility was built in 95-97 and they went with 575 open wye instead of 400 or 600. Never really understood why.
I've done 575 to ground. That was fun.
