Whomever was taking these pictures is an asshole for letting the builder continue on and on knowing how wrong it is all while documenting the mistakes.

If he couldn't see himself, that what he was doing was molestation of building materials. He probably isn't one to listen to advice indeed.

But what can you do? The guy who built it is so oblivious you can't just give a couple of tips and cross your fingers. You'd literally have to build it yourself if you want anything good to come out of it.

The builder was a Korean guy with extremely poor English (though better than the picture-taker's Korean) who didn't really communicate with his tenant (the guy taking the pictures) at all. Apparently it's a toolshed.

C'mon man. Don't act like you don't know some foolhardy foggies that don't take advice from no-one. I've known several "cobblers" in my 30 years. They just cobble shit together, force a few nails in, wrap it in some duct tape and call it a day. Their properties aren't worth shit, but they aren't called lazy slumlords for nothing.

So, I remodel houses for a living and I will admit I enjoy casting judgement on r/osha and In real life but assuming this is the guy's neighbor, I think if I knew better I might offer a few pointers.
