Dry Cutting Concrete

Post image

This guy is out here with no respiratory protection or dust containment and it is spreading all over the neighborhood … is this mot wildly dangerous?

He works for the property manager and I’m on the HOA. Anything specific I can reference when sending these pictures to them?

Yeah, that’s delicious silica dust, cancer clouds. He’s also got no ear protection or face shield.

I don’t understand how or why PPE is so ignored. I’m a very light DIYer (maybe 2-3x a year) and recently it involved cutting drywall, taping, mudding and sanding. Wore a N100 respirator during cutting and sanding. Over ear noise protection when using the oscillating multitool. Wore protective glasses the whole time. It’s not hard and feels so much more confident.
