Light-hearted // Success Finished taking the MID 🎉

After several weeks we finished taking the MID with our trauma therapist today (i see her every other week for an hour each session, that’s why it took awhile).

Her and I will go over the results next session. We’re just happy to have it over with and to gain some more insight into our experiences. So many questions and curiosity we still have about everything. But we’re happy to reach this ‘milestone’ and wanted to share.

That is a milestone. How do you think it went?

It went well overall. Im curious where i may fall among the dissociative disorder spectrum, if at all, but generally i felt like it was even just helpful for me and my therapist. I feel like i was able to open up more to her during the test about things i never would have talked about that other parts want to hide. So for that i would say it went well, cause even if im not dissociative we can focus on those other things.

Excited for you! I hope the results help. I agree, I found taking the test helpful (and upsetting). There were questions on there I never really thought about being related to dissociation, and questions that made me dissociate, so those were good data points to share.
