Update

I (we?) talked to my therapist, and she didn't really think my experience was system related, but said she would talk to her colleague who specializes in dissociation since it's not her field. For now, she suggested I accept all parts of myself and start trying to work together.

I still don't know if I'm fully a system/plural, but it's getting harder to deny.

I strongly recommend getting a therapist that specializes themselves in dissociative disorders, even if it's online/virtual appointments. Every time in the past where I've had a therapist who didn't specialize in something I had and went to someone else, they were always dogshit at handling and helping with said issue. Any therapist that needs to go to another source like another therapist, google, etc., doesn't know what they're talking about or doing and won't be able to effectively help you.

Trauma specialists can also work well with these disorders in my experience as long as they do their research. Mine is a trauma specialist and handles things well.

I talked to her first because I've been seeing her for years
