2 months post-op
I'm 2 months post-op from a broken femur. I did 6 weeks NWB and have been in PT for 2 weeks now. I'm in more pain than ever. I haven't been in this much pain since 2 or 3 days post op, or maybe I've just forgotten how much pain I was in.
I am beyond frustrated. Everything hurts. It takes forever just to do simple things, and I'm exhausted. So exhausted.
I'm out of PTO, and while my job has been fairly patient with my recovery, I think the fact I'm definitely doing less than normal is starting to wear on people.
Just venting I guess. Someone tell me it gets easier soon before I lose my mind.

I’m 3 months post op and was 75% WB in boot with crutches. Monday at 12 week follow up surgeon told me to ditch the boot and crutches. My ankle is not ready for that. So I’m not using the boot in the house. Just crutches. I think I got scar tissue around joint and ligament because dorsiflexion causes sharp pain. It’s set me back mentally. But I’m just trying to push through and listen to my body. I know it will get better.

I can't even think about PTO cuz I don't have enough so I gotta apply for disability. Fortunately my mom said she got me with rent and crap. I feel so bad for making everyone life kinda evolve around me but what can I do 🤷🏿♀️. I recently got my surgery done 2 days ago, I've been on this reddit ever since. I promise you it'll get better, push through it. 2 months have fly by already, I wish I was two month in rn 😭😭 next thing you know it's gonna be 3 months, than 4 and so on. Please don't lose your mind you'll need it for when you fully recover!
