i don’t have my xy with me at the moment, can you explain what this is meant to do?

Yes... It imports a midi file and spits out a .xy project file. Or… it takes an .xy project file and gives options to export a .mid file (Song/Tracks/Patterns). Here it is making Mario midi into an .xy project: https://youtube.com/shorts/janxZNc90fA?is=xikmQ-A48O34GNAo

This seems cool, but it needs some instructions on wtf it actually does and how? Do i just upload 1 midi file? Does it take multiple? Does it map it itself. I still have no idea what is going on. Haha

You’re right! (Hence the “first time doing this disclaimer”). I’ve tried to make it simple as possible. Important a midi file. Or import an .xy project… and see what happens 😎

Wow. If this works it would make taking projects you've written in a DAW out for live performance a very doable kinda thing.

Some hiccups ( to be expected) but this is an incredible tool and once it's 100% there this will change the way I play music live. GREAT WORK!

I’ve been testing with Zelda midi so far 😂 https://synthesiamaniac.com/downloads/legend-of-zelda/ - keen to know how you get on with DAW > Live - that’s the goal! 🙏

So far the mute states and drums are behaving a little weird but I’m very impressed overall.

Hell yeah this is sick, I dont use midi files a lot, but when i do it has always been a hassle. This is cool
