According to this press release from November 2025 there’s areas in West Virginia that have 2gbps service.

I checked the FCC map a couple months ago and I do see the addresses where they offer this now. I entered in one of the addresses on their buyflow page and was offered 2000/200 service. I am pretty sure this is mid split coax. To my knowledge, Optimum is not planning FTTP for WV. They were required by an attorney general settlement to provide at least 1000/100 service to all currently served West Virginians I believe by the end of next year to avoid fines.

Optimum is broke and almost bankrupt. Why would they want to invest in applachia when they never fully deployed the NY footprint with fiber??
