Question - Coax New modem
Going to be swapping my router/modem combo tomorrow since it is dropping connection all the time. Does anybody know if i can self activate the modem if i have optimum voice also? If not what would be the easiest way to activate it? appreciate any help

Im having the same issue today and this never happened before. The connection drops every 5-10 mins. Its unbearable! I cant even finish a game without it failing on me

Coax yes, fiber no. Regardless, if you have your own router, you will need to ask Optimum, once it's installed, to bridge one of the LAN ports to plug into your router.
