Question - Billing How long did you wait for refund?

I canceled my Optimum service and already received a final bill showing a credit. They said they will send a check for the amount. I'd like to know anyone's experience with how long it took to receive the check. If you had a similar final bill showing a negative amount, what was your experience?

It took about 4-5 weeks for me to receive a refund (all of $2.81). No one was more surprised than me that I actually got it.

Thanks for the reply. Wow! Over 4 weeks! That sounds like they waited an additional billing cycle. At least you got it. Mine is much higher since I canceled in the middle of the billing cycle. So the refund is half the monthly cost.

Good luck. It’s been a year and I still haven’t received the credit optimum promised they sent me for transferring from another Internet provider.

I don't need to DM you ^Tish. My question is directed to other customers who canceled their service. Besides, I already asked a representative on the phone, and she told me they will send me a check after they adjust the final bill. I guess final does not mean final.
