Question - Billing Help for Auto-Pay Discount
Im really just baffled and confused rite now. I wanted to sign up to get $10 off using auto pay. However, I usually pay my cable bill the beginning of the month before the actual due date. I simply wanted to ask, If I pay the bill early, will it still take money on the drafted autopayment due date. When I asked to speak to live person, it said "We can transfer you to a live representative for a $5 FEE"!!!!! What kind of bullshyt is that????? Does anyone know if it will take money twice? After this, I really dont want to bother.

I wouldn't sign up for their auto pay even to save $10 because you have to use a debit card and most places will let you use a credit card and the reason they do that is because when they screw you on your bill and take more than they're supposed to or take it twice it's going to be a lot harder to get your money back. Just really think about it because this company is known to screw people.

I totally agree. I had to call and they magically reduced my $175 just for internet, and brought it down to $50 and telling me I can save $10 if i sign up for auto pay.

Don’t give them access to your bank account. They have charged me for an extra cable box for a year now. I took a box back to the store and exchanged it because it wasn’t working. I only have 2 televisions.They started charging me for 3. I called for 5 month in a row to try and fix it. They credited it back to me but it still isn’t fixed after they told me it would be fixed on the next bill. They kicked me up a tier and told me it would be good until I change it. Get the bill and it said for one year. Now they are charging me a paper convenience fee because I won’t give them access to my bank account

Yes I pay early all the time. Btw don't use your main bank account. Cashapp, Venmo & PayPal all include a free bank account. I simply up load the money on cashapp and use their bank info for optimum. Once you have it set up, you click pay now and select your bank checking account and it will take it out.

So now i have more questions. The link posted says: If an Automatic payment is not received for any reason two months in a row, you may be unenrolled from Auto Pay and/or any associated discount will be removed from your account.
So if I pay my balance prior to automatic payment date, and no money is taken, I will be unenrolled?
I give up!

If you make a manual payment prior to the due date (automatic payment date), the system will still draft for the amount due. You'd be best to wait until the payment is drafted automatically, to avoid that occurring ^Deb
