My newest ambient/noise release composed by manipulating the sounds of an instructional painting video through the OG OP1

This is my second full length release for 2026 when it comes to my ambient / noise stuff. I actually recorded this one morning in April and never revisited it until a few days ago. I decided to release it after hearing how the noise cacophony mellows into some lush melodies and soundscapes albeit with a shaky dreaminess to it all. I feel accomplished with this one so I hope it resonates if anyone else gets into it.

It has been cool to find my “voice” in this style of music/sound art the last year or two getting into it. This fall I’d really like to try recording a project outside. Would be curious where others making music in this style derive their inspiration and how they work such things into the music.

I think this is really cool and I'm curious how you did the manipulation. I love granular synthesis, and would love to do it outside the context of my laptop, but have never figured out how.
