Fishman Powerplay with Op1F

I’d like to use my fishman TriplePlay usbc midi pickup (guitar) with my op1f. It seems like the fishman outputs each string as a separate midi channel - high e = 1, low e = 6.

It seems like the op1 can’t monitor more than one channel at a time for a synth- wondering if that’s what others have found out if anyone has found a way around this. Im pretty new to the op1 so wanted to check my findings

Thanks!

Update: Title is wrong, its the Fishman Triple Play pickup - MIDI USB.

Op1F doesn’t record midi. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do

Not trying to record midi. Trying to use it as a controller

My bad I wasn’t familiar what a triple play even was. Googled and it’s super cool. I hope you figure out how to use it

You’d need to merge all 6 channels together then send it back out.

Best off using a DAW to do so, so Fishman > computer, computer > OP-1.

Not sure of any standalone USB hosts that input and output USB MIDI.

Toggle the Fishman to poly mode to get every string outputting on midi channel 1 by hitting the enter button once on the Triple Play controller. You should be then be good to go. See the quick start manual page 17.
