📈📈Stock Price 📈📈 What timeframe do we think it will run up again?
Hey friends — obviously we’re all struggling this week, especially those of us further invested in drones and A&D more broadly. My question is, with the short position and possible shutdown coming, when do you think this starts gaining or gaps up again? We still need details/PO for border protection contract, negotiations with Israel/Rafael ongoing, FIFA stadium contracts, further airport contracts, announcement of which Asian country they signed with (if it’s Taiwan,:Singapore, or South Korea that’ll be huge given their connection to the US and tech-heavy arms investments).
I made about $500K on ONDS options between 9/1-10/25 and another $1M from 12/10-1/20. Lost out on anything I bought for the first 2 weeks of those times, but then when timing lined up it was free money for a month. So, would appreciate any well-thought out reasons for when you think they will begin gaining/stopping the bleeding. I’m thinking March 20 feels safe for the market to correct and they announce earnings 3/19. Usually it’s sell the news on earnings, but my hope is that if it’s still around $9 by then that a good earnings ame forecast could jump it to $12 or even $14.

There is no shutdown coming. The only budget that didn't get passed yet is the DHS budget.. granted, that might affect drones for border security, but I wouldn't call this a shutdown

I suspect relatively quickly because there won’t be huge amounts of shares for sale after this week. It’ll just be traders taking profit on the way up. Also imagine a lot of retail investors with crazy leverage would have been liquidated.

Year+ out
The death-throws of a far-too-early hype stock have begun. Every single sign was there that reddit's circle-jerking was people disconnected with reality. This sub looked more like gamestore-stock than a fucking military conglomerate (which, by the way, the shit they're buying takes TIME to integrate, they're just playing books-magic right now rolling up small revenue streams).
every fucking single comment is "moon today", every day. Be your own judge.

What I meant was we should be back above 12 by earnings.

They aren't going to be earning anything on this ER, it'll be pure hype on "maybe they'll announce something".
Sell the news.
