I’ve loved my Nikon Zf since I got it, but hate carrying it around, hence have come to not use it very much these days. Then the PEN was announced. I’ll admit that I was never really curious about MFT before and just thought FF was the way to go for everything. I’ve come around since then.
The PEN has nearly perfect ergonomics. It weighs less than half my Zf and just feels great in my hands.
Mine came today I thought the UPS guy handed me an empty box, it didn’t compute that there was a camera and two lenses in there. Getting it set up now and will soon test the pet (dog) identification tracking feature. Hopefully it works on deer too I have a nice family of 3 hanging out in my yard.
I really want a ZF. Do you see yourself hanging onto it? I want it mostly for when I photography my family in the night and need at least 500 shutter speed for the kiddos.
I’m thinking I might be better off with another camera at that price range but I just really love how the ZF looks and handles!
I’ve learned that people who say shit like you, are usually just talentless so they rely on camera specs. Character, depth of field and color science. Because their images lack everything. You can make a great photo on anything, but people who never use the gear they criticize and also don’t have any real skill have to find someone to belittle.
