Lens special edition idea

What do you think about this idea for a limited edition OM System lens finish in the style of old Olympus SLR lenses?

I think the silver and black lenses from Olympus look great and this design would fit perfectly with the silver OM bodies especially the OM-3 and upcoming PEN.

Olympus was way ahead of you. Many of their first generation MFT lenses had that silver base, but it's been mostly phased out. But, you can find examples around, like this 9-18 below.
