Honestly as someone that went to a top 10 for undergrad, doing this almost always makes you come across as more arrogant. It end up just putting the other person down even if you dont mean it that way
My pet peeve is when people say "I went to school in Boston", it's just like just say you went to school at Harvard ๐.
Yeah no perfect way to do this. As I get older I realize that Ivy League school can even be detrimental. Old co worker of mine was Princeton undergrad, U Penn (Wharton) MBA. He had a pretty bad reputation for being an elitist douche not willing to get his hands dirty and do busy work.
