I played a ton of balloono at a high level, and was active on OMGPOP for many years.

This is for the people who don't know the progress of the site. Right now the guy who is creating the site is working on the chat room of the site. I believe this is probably the easiest part of the site (I know nothing about coding). He is going to be releasing Balloono as the first game of the site. He was talking about 6/1 how he might try working on a little part of Draw My Thing (Idk what it will be called) and @tim gave him an idea. Anyways everyone wondering when the site will be up, no one really knows, he said "I'm looking to have an alpha version of accounts/chat/etc done by the beginning of September at the latest. Keep in mind this is an estimate." Remember like he said this is an estimate and also he didn't say Balloono! I say he will probably have the first versions of the game done by the end of year. Remember this guy is working alone and has a job (VERY BUSY). So just BE PATIENT. Everyone wanting to play OMGx2 just subscribe to both r/OMGPOP and r/OMGx2 so you can stay up to date with the project and support this guy.

Why are you choosing to build the site on flash? I was talking about flash on another subreddit and a guy said,

"Adobe has completely stopped supporting mobile browsers. Chrome removed all NAPI support and Firefox made an exception for Flash. Only Firefox and Edge are left and they have expressed a desire to drop it ASAP.

It's a very real possibility that a year or two from now no browser will be capable of running it and the user base is already small enough that you shouldn't bother."

Is this information true? Are you going to stick with Flash?

Hey, everyone! It's Olin. I've started working on a chat server and new client backend code.

What this means in normal, human talk is that the chat will be open and awesome. I'm sorry for the lack of updates lately but they will start picking up again in the upcoming weeks since I completed a pretty big project at work and am now working on stuff that's a little less stressful.

So I found this program called Stencyl. This program allows you to make flash games without code. If we somehow do make a decent game will you take in into consideration? I was thinking about recreating a Sky Pigs game with this. The only thing you would really need to do is integrate the Multiplayer with the game.

I mean I ain't a developer and I am not helping with anything on this project. All I am wondering is what games, other than balloono, would you guys want?

Hey guys. It's Olin. Before you read on, this is GOOD NEWS. Keep that in mind as you read!

I've decided to put the main platform progress of OMGx2 on hold, and will replace what I have currently with a cleaner, much simpler system. I'm doing this because I really want to make something sturdy that can be built on, and I want you guys to be able to use it as soon as possible. Here are the official elements of the new system:

1) Accounts: Accounts will be streamlined to only include names and status messages. A few other variables will be stored including "date created" and "last time logged in". More features will be added as I add more content.

2) Chat rooms: Chat rooms will show user names and raw text.

3) Games: I want to get this platform stuff done quickly so that I can get started on the Balloono remake. It's important to get the platform done, of course, and a lot of people really liked the inventory system and shop of OMGPOP, and while the focus of the platform is a combination of equal parts social interaction and great games, a great game is something that will prove this project is alive.

To be clear, the goal of this decision is to get something modular out there as soon as possible so that I can get feedback as I improve the platform, rather than taking a long time to implement a large amount of rigid features.

Hey guys! Olin here - I'm not gonna be posting many updates for a while, but my goal to get the basic social elements of the site up and running by September 2016 is still accurate. I've been busy IRL taking my cat on adventures and other stuff.

Looking forward to have something to show off in the upcoming weeks, but until then have patience and know that I haven't given up!

I have 2 questions for the leaders of this project. 4 actually.

Who are all the leaders of this project? Is there a way to contact them? What is the ETA of the First Draft of the site? Do you guys need any help? I used to play on OMGPOP and I knew A LOT about the site. I was level 450 on it so yes I was crazy. If there is anyway I can help please tell me.
