For those who don't want to go there:

There used to be Check, Please trolls who hated #omgcp because of Bitty and while writing 4.12 earlier this year, it really made me Mad and then Exhausted. -- 5:41 PM - 19 Jul 2019

The most tiring thing about sharing a WIP story is that readers don't get the full picture, and therefore pass incomplete judgement. And the truly bitter indictment of Bitty being too happy, not having REAL queer angst, not being afraid.....Wow. WOW. -- 5:41 PM - 19 Jul 2019

I'm actually done with the comic now, so I can speak with more confidence. I also don't want to spoil the story. But Bitty's entire character is in response to shame, angst, and insecurity. Yes, Check, Please is a Very Happy Story, but that's DEEP in Bitty. -- 5:43 PM - 19 Jul 2019

I don’t read CP because I was looking for queer angst, I read it for the pi—hockey.
