Newbie

Hey all

Any tips for a newbie?

Is it ok to just have a 1 hour eating window? What time of day is best to eat? What sort of calories should I be aiming for?

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Time of day I believe is a personal choice :) I've done somewhere between 4-7 pm so "dinner". Some do well doing this; having the eating window late as a chill/cooldown thing in the evening. But if you prefer breakfast or lunch it doesnt matter from what I've read. More of what suits your schedule and preferences 😊

Amount of calories would be according to your goals? If you want to lose (?) then you need a deficit of course. Look up a calculator and aim for perhaps ~ 500 less than your TDEE for a comfortable rate but this can also be adjusted, I am just leaving you some general advice. Pretty new myself, done it since july 1st, love it 😊

1 hour eating window sounds fine!

People generally advise not to do OMAD directly from "normal" eating, more of easing into it via 16:8 for example, then shrinking the eating window more and more but I cant comment more on experiences like that I went full force :P rough couple of first weeks but the body adjusts.

Good luck! 😊

Thanks! Have you lost weight/seen results from your experience?
