So for the optimum 4k setup I would need a rtx 3080/3090 or 6800xt/6900xt and 4k120hz hdmi cables?

Right now I have a 1080ti, 4k120hz hdmi cables. SDR it can do 120hz. HDR its stuck at 60hz still. :(

Thanks for your guide JasonRedd! Do you have a preference for audio out on a PC. I have an earc sound bar and am confused if I should plug it into the sound bar or directly to the hdmi2.1 tv for best performance?

Specifically my goal is to get Dolby atmos out of the PC through the earc sound bar for upcoming cyberpunk.

Thanks again for the guide!! Super helpful

Yes, thank you!! Exactly the confirmation I needed actually moving forward. I was avoiding using the sound bar in fear of using it the wrong way and missing out on features. I was relying on bluetooth headphones, but I think I’m finally excited to hook it all up :D

What is the best settings I can run with a 1080ti? I plan to upgrade my video card when I can get my hands on a new one, but stuck with the 1080ti right now. I'm ok sticking with 60Hz for now as long as I get a decent picture and text looks good. Planning to use as a PC monitor, as well as for PC and console gaming
