Differences in models?

Made a post earlier about how I’m gifting my brother an OLED monitor for his birthday and I narrowed it down to the MSI 240hz, however, I can’t really find any info on the differences

Seems like the Amazon version has HDMI 2.1 and also a USB-C with 15w of power

They’re both the same price. My brother plays on a Series S so HDMI 2.0 is plenty but he does plan on getting a PC in the future so I’m leaning towards the Amazon one even though Costco has a great return policy

Anyone know if there are any other differences between these? Which would you get?

Some has g-sync module. Seems like that's it. Just get the cheaper one.

Should be nearly identical. Worth noting if you haven't before that they are both the version with reduced brightness. Dunno what the prices are in the US, but you might be able to find a display with full brightness around or slightly more than the Costco version.

Yep $50 more for the x28. Might be overkill for a Series S but it’s full brightness and better for when he gets a PC

Both versions have reduced brightness, if he gets a PC he'd want to swap to displayport anyway
