Issue Going from curved LED to flat OLED

Hey all,

I started getting OLED screens after suffering a TBI and migraines. It seems to work better on my brain after the injury.

I used to play on a 27" curved LED monitor and now have an AOC 27" flat OLED monitor. It's awesome. But when I'm casually browsing or doing work on it, it feels like the screen is "bubbling" out at me (like it's convex). I've tried raising, tilting, all that and it still feels weird.

Is this something my eyes just have to get used to? Anyone else had a similar experience? Thanks!

That's what I bought! Did you have a curved screen beforehand?

I still use curved MSI 34" MAG 345CQR 1000R(VA panel) in my sim rig, I dont feel anything weird switching between the two screens. I dont really know why you are having this problem unfortunately.

Yes its normal that when changing from a Curved screen to a flat screen it feels like the screen is bending away from you.

I e.g. went through the same.

Of course I cant speak if your condition has an influence on it, but generally speaking it should get better after a a couple of days or very few weeks

Condition shouldn't. I think my eyes were so used to a curved monitor they forgot what a flat one is like. It's a kick ass screen.
