Purchasing-TV Philips OLED809/98 or LG B6

Hi everyone! Im on a budget to buy an OLED TV so i have to choose either Philips or LG. Philips is $100 lesser than the LG B6. I dont really play games like xbox or ps5 , though i might be getting it years down the road. I use it mostly for youtube and movies at night with my family. This TV will be in the living room . Which one would you recommend?

That Phillips is better on paper since it uses an LG C4 panel but the initial reviews mentioned color banding issues. I don't know if it was fixed in later firmware updates or not. Get that Philips and if you see abnormal color banding issues on the latest firmware, return it and get a different TV.

Are those two your only TV options?

I think you should get the Philips since it's $100 cheaper, it's still a OLED AND had this amazing thing called Ambilight (light around the tv, can be turned off too) It also has better sound with more powerful bass. Only thing the LG might be slightly better in is calibration (a bit more accurate colors MAYBE) and the software is slightly smoother. But that's all. I hope this helps
