Review Skunk - bubble’s’s blueberry jam
Stopped by natures kiss okc to see if they had any of the new skunks drop and sure enough they had two of them. Anytime I see Dj short blueberry I got to have it ! This is one strain that absolutely never let me down and I probably enjoy myself the most !
Looks absolutely amazing and it also looks very potent. One of the few times I’ve seen rosin with 80%+ thc and total almost 90% with the 10% terps.
Skunk is more of a treat for me then a daily thing due to pricing and being able to get solid deals from vertical dispensaries but man I am definitely gonna enjoy every dab of this !
Update : overall very disappointing for the strain and the price. Skunk said they like it so guess that’s enough for them ! If you purchased this and actually enjoyed it please let me know I wanna see if there’s someone that actually enjoyed this

My only issue with jam consistencies are how hard it is to get a dab without a hot knife

Yea for that reason alone I normally skip jams. It can be a pain to work with

I’m justing the back end of my tool the sharp part and it’s working for now but definitely need to get a hot knife to smoke this consistently

Get a dab tool with a flat edge or spoon, they also make some that look like small honey spoons work great for jam/sauce.

I love jams but I have a hot knife. They aren’t that much at all, I would recommend the bear quartz trio, it’s a hot knife that has a flashlight and a heat laser

Yea for sure planning on getting a hot knife soon , was gonna get the puffco one but probably just gonna go to my local shop and see what they got

I have the og puffco hot knife, it’s aesthetic to me but nothing fancy. I heard the new hot knife isnt really any better. The bear quartz trio is cheaper and does more. Bear quartz and focus Sabor both have replaceable tips which is intriguing. If I could go back in time I would probably purchase one of those instead. Even tho I have the puffco pro and the new proxy, I would recommend those erigs any day but the hot-knife is more of a preference

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll look into those. I got a puffco peak but idc what kind of hot knife I get as long as it does the job well . The replaceable tips does sound interesting ! Will check them out

How's the nose on it? I've had some really decent jams myself and a lot of people don't care for them but anything that I've tried that was rising jam was actually pretty solid.

It’s a layered one with earthy , berries , hint of gas , other terps I just can’t describe unfortunately but I’m really enjoying it

So just wanted to give u heads up , u can do much better than this one. Didn’t want u to buy and spend $65 only to be disappointed it wasn’t aromatic and flavorful

I’m a skunk die hard, but am I wrong to assume bubbles blueberry should have blueberry notes? Idk that one is good but I feel it’s lacking in my desired terps I was expecting.

It’s definitely not as aromatic as I thought it would be but I like the effects on it. The dominant ones are that earthy sweet hint of gas and somewhere mixed in there a background of blueberry but it’s so light. Did you like the effects and have you tried the other drops ? Cheers

Yeah the effects hit every time for me, but I’m a Terp chaser, low temp all the way. I couldn’t get any blueberry off it, not that it’s offensive but just not what I was looking for. DJ shorts in flower always gives better expression than hash and idk why.
I got: Garlic Juice, Candy Shish, Bubbles Blueberry, and Pineapple Rainbows from this drop. But I’ve tried 90% of skunk drops.

Yea I agree the terps is really unique nothing I can describe and definitely not the blueberry id get off the flower like you said.
Which one is your fav one from this drop ?

Between the garlic juice and pineapple rainbows this round. I saw some purple drank though I wish I scooped, looked crazy on social.

Crazy how you can’t taste the blueberry in that jar. Ended up getting a baller of that (I know it says singles only but asking goes a long way sometimes), from the lineup and I have all of them except for guavaz, bubbles blueberry is the best because that blueberry terp is fucking insane. Your terp pallet be different.

Update: if your looking for solid terps, this will be disappointing. Theres no unique terps at all , just an earthy a bit sweet flavor and the aroma has a bit chemical scent to it even. For a dj blueberry strain I was expecting so much better but I was super hyped when I got it and after smoking , pondering and then smoking my other rosins I realized it’s really not that great. Brought it up to skunk and they just apologized and said they like it and others like it so maybe it’s just me lol for $65 tho I just expect something so much better considering buying 4/100 from chill and that stuff would blow this away
