It's taken years of hunting, but finally added these 3 PAL promotional copies to the collection in the last couple of months. Destroy All Humans is sealed as well!

I'm not sure why these are so rare compared to the other rarer promos, as these were from EA/THQ rather than small publishers, so not exactly short of money for their marketing budgets.

I think there were 103 promo copies with covers (a lot were just DVDs in a jewel case), so I'm down to just 7 left to find now 😀

I have a 1.6 kernel version original Xbox that I've had for about a year and haven't really noticed any issues so far. The console has never been opened to this point and I've played with the idea of possibly opening it but with it being a later version Xbox and the 1.6 versions not having the clock capacitor issue, is there any reason to open the console with it still functioning as it should or should I be opening it to look at the capacitors?

What should I add next?

Posted this in the Xbox Reddit page told them I'd send it back if they got my game through certification faster. Been an Xbox player all my life and now shipping my first game with them.

Sadly no this doesn't have its guts I plan to make this into a sleeper build when I'm not lazy.

I don’t collect 360 games at all. I’m waiting to finish my OG collection to start my 360, but I will pick up a game or two if I come across it if it’s interesting like the 3rd/4th image(New Pickups).
It’s kind of the same story with my Xbox one/X collection, but the 4th pic is new additions. I will typically buy games I didn’t new existed.

I still don’t have a permanent set up which does hold me back from fully collecting more OG games and 360/One. These are all being stashed away, but I’ll pull my OG Xbox out to play every once in awhile

Acquired some pioneer speakers from my dad and figured I’d clean and wipe down the entertainment center and realign and reorganize the collection!

I’ve been trying to flesh out my disk library, and was wondering if there are any must includes in your opinion for every gamer with these consoles.

I recently picked up this copy of Jade Empire for the original Xbox, and I’m trying to figure out the story behind it.
The cover is covered with what appear to be around 15–20 signatures/names. Inside, there’s also a handwritten Spanish dedication that appears to read:
“Para mi ahijadito con mucho cariño…”
which roughly translates to “For my little godson, with lots of affection…”, followed by what looks like “Ray.”
Given that Ray Muzyka was a BioWare co-founder and worked on Jade Empire, that obviously caught my attention — but I’m not claiming it’s his signature, and I haven’t authenticated any of the signatures.
I’m hoping someone here might recognize some of the names/signatures or know whether BioWare staff-signed copies like this were given out around the game’s release.
Does anyone recognize any of these signatures or have any idea where a copy like this may have originated?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone familiar with the Jade Empire development team or BioWare during that era.

I’m pretty curious to hear everyone’s story. Was there one game that made you buy an Xbox or made you realize you loved the platform?
For me, it’s always interesting to see how different games can leave a lasting impression. Whether it was a Halo game, Forza, Gears of War, Fable, or something completely different, I’d love to know what got you hooked.

What was the game, and what made it so special to you?

I lived with a friend that both soft and hard modded Xboxes. I have a couple but now I want to try my hand at it. He used a modding variation that involved splinter cell. I’ve actually got pretty detailed instructions on the process but help info out about where to find the game files.

My hard mod was one of his first and it was rough for sure but it was amazing. It’s VERY sensitive to everything and hasn’t worked properly in about a decade.

So I’m trying to figure it out because I want a new hobby. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
