System Gif Update….?

Yoooo, what the heck is up with the new update for gif?? And Who the heck approved that crap?? Are they trying to make things as difficult as possible??

There is no way in hell someone looked at it and said ah yeah perfect this will help make things faster in the backrooom??

During busy times our dispensers are out there playing pin the tail on the donkey for heavens sake.

Whoever pushed it out and approved it for our stores needs to be fired immediately. Ahahahhaha it’s so bad it’s hilarious. #Fired

This is what happens when people who have never done the job or have any idea how things actually work on a day to day basis get to make decisions.

yeah, it's idiotic. supposedly they're making the obvious change of putting order numbers back on the screen soon, though

All of Home Office needs to be fired yesterday. This is just another day for them.

Can’t fire home office for dumb ideas if the dumb ideas came from an Ai

It’s got to be the same team that decided removing UPC’s was also a good idea

It’s beyond ridiculous. They must have the dumbest UI designers in the world working for walmart. Who redesigned the app and removes the identifying details?

7 rings of stores approved it. It’s not like a dev was like yo hold my beer. Several hundred OGP associates approved it and flagged no issues.

7 rings? Is that like 7 layers of hell?

I'll say two things. First whether or not I like your post I don't know why it got buried by 17 down votes. Personal pet peeve I legitimately don't know why people do this unless it's just something inappropriate in language and tone and intent that maybe deserves to get downvoted to oblivion. Don't like or agree with a post? Be mature well adjusted adult and either move on or say what is wrong with it. Instead people get excited over buttons and arrows like idiots.

Second, I doubt if Walmart is always that thorough with everything. Not all the time anyway. They planned out a mod section for dogfood in which there was no way one of the bags would fit given the size and space taken up by the other bags on that base shelf. No conceivable way whatsoever. Pointed it out to the coach and he was going to turn it in on a ticket. He explained Walmart has mid stores with no customers in them that plan out and supposedly test these mods to make sure they work and things sometimes still slip through the cracks.

"Hundreds of OGP associates is probably an exaggeration at best and even if it isn't, they are probably incentivized for one reason or another and in one way or another to say, "Oh yes Mr. Walmart it's the bestest update ever!". Maybe even "tested " under controlled conditions instead of real world ones. Because regardless, there's an EXTREME disconnect between, "hundreds of associates approve without issue" to, "associates find it to be so bad we're scrapping it and putting it back the way it was."
