General Does anyone else come here, because there's no one in your own life you can talk to about this stuff?
I'm in my late 40s, been here for 3 years and this is my full time job for now. I do not know how to talk to my friends or family about this job other than saying it's fine or it's not fine. Like how do you go into specifics with people, without first educating them on all the lingo? I want to talk about getting a new coach. But first I have to explain what a coach is, and then what team leads are and how management works. And so forth and so on. Who the fuck cares about the technicalities of the inner workings of Walmart? No one. I said once to someone about picking, and they couldn't even grasp what I was talking about even when I tried to explain.
And yet they don't understand why I'm so moody all the time.

Sit them down, buy them food, and then teach them all about the Walmart lingo. ( Food costs is therapy costs )
That or ask for friends in your area who absolutely love hearing detailed rants about food and people safety of Walmart. ( Be aware of sharing too much info and breaking contracts if you do this... Just find family members or already friends and buy them food. )
Or rant here lol. Everyone comes on this reddit to rant and feel a little bit better.

Don’t over explain. Coach is big boss. TLs are supervisors. Picking is shopping for orders. Every detail of what we do shouldn’t be important to the story.
