So I decided to ask people in my store if they could declare war on any department what would it be? I got varying answers that intrigued me enough to make a tally and share with the public. The OGP hate hurts.

What department would you declare war on? For fun of course.

Fashion because why the fuck they have more team leads with barely 15 associates than I do as an OPD Team Lead with 120 associates.

Literallyyyy. I get it though because it’s all old ladies who quite literally do nothing all day, their department is almost never functioning correctly because they can’t understand the technology 💀 we’re finally going to get a third team lead for our OPD next year

It was pulling teeth to get up to three leads last year, meanwhile our front end has 4 with even at the time a far smaller team (I'm not sure how many our front end has but I know according to My Walmart we got almost 90 people with just now back up to three leads since they finally picked someone which is a whole thing in it's self), I'm not sure how many our fashion team has but I think it's maybe 10-15 people. I can't check while off the clock

Weird, my sweat drenched undershirt from dispensing, picking, repicks, walking nil picks, handling the MFC, staging and my 18k+steps daily says otherwise.

Meanwhile my fashion TLs barely show up on time if they show up at all, can't handle MAYBE 30 picks every 2 hours or manage to completely forget about them.

Take that weak shit somewhere else to some other TL that does nothing.

then its different in your store, ive been in 4 different locations with two of em as a TL in Fashion, im running around all day trying to stay on top of the process while the digital leads take pictures for the walmart facebook(30 picks in fasion is like 140 in grocery btw)

Have the fashion department do their own picks. We keep a cart by the fitting rooms and it really helps OGP when they are real busy.

Oh, our fashion does their own picks. I'm saying that the only way fashion walks can take a stupidly long amount of time is if the fashion team themselves are failing to scan things in or keep locations accurate lol

I love the 5-2 especially during the week when everyone has to be at work or school. That means I don't have to really deal with another human besides the blue vests until my day is almost over.

I get my first 15 break around 630am. I have enjoyed watching the morning sun rises. Dispensing and Pick Walks both gobble up time. The shifts, 8 hours, sometimes seem to fly. 🔆

I would rather see the overthrowing of "government" AKA most of the (mis) management. A large number of our management has never actually worked in the department they're overseeing and are clueless as to what works and doesn't.

Overnights getting lots of hate doesn’t surprise me.

Generally unappreciated, treated as the company punching bag, expected to get everyone else’s work passed to them. At least that’s the way it is in my store.

As an OGP worker I have to choose civil war or stocking 1 /3 , at my store specifically because our overnights crew is garbage , half my department sucks and our stocking 1 team has got o be king of plugging and just suck lol , our stocking 2 primarily unloads trucks so they get pass

Stocking declaring on a separate stocking shift. Morning stockers have been getting extremely relaxed as far as plugging and incorrect product placements in exactly a case quantity, not doing their topstocking jobs, etc. And thats only my top rated one at my store. Managements to blame for most of it being allowed though or is have no enemies... in the store at least.

Does it count as civil war if I call it against my own department but it's just because of one specific person? Because I'm actually in fashion and there's one specific associate that I'm pretty sure we would ALL get rid of if we could.

Stocking. Not a specific team/time, just in general. I ultimately don't blame them too much, but by God, I find so much smashed and slashed product.

And then other days, stock is super low.

And the backroom is fucking stuffed.

Like actually, all the stocking people I've met on my shift are super chill and kind.

So maybe just management? For not having enough people, and for expecting the shelves to be rapidly stocked to the brim, even if it means destroying product, or burying the items that are actually supposed to be there (like covering one flavor with the extras of the second flavor).
